The Burning House

I stumbled upon this Tumblr a while ago and find it completely fascinating. The premise is simple, 'if your house was burning, what would you take with you?' 

The blog was started by Foster Huntington, the blogger behind A Restless Transplant and features a whole host of different submissions. It's extremely interesting to get a glimpse into the lives of a person through their most valuable possessions. Check out the blog and peruse! 

Below are the two posts from Foster himself. In the summer of 2011 he left his job in New York City, bought a VW Van, and has spent his time driving around the states. His adventures are completely engaging. On the left is what he would originally have saved, and on the right, an updated version, travelling on the open roads gives you a distinctly different perspective.

Beyonce

Garance posted a video of a Beyonce performance on her blog today and it got me thinking about what an amazing performer Beyonce really is. When you watch her perform, she's not only belting out one of her many greatest hits, but she's dancing, putting on a show, oh and she's doing it in heels, all the while looking amazing! 

I have been a fan of hers all the way back to her Destiny's Child days (I'm hoping and wishing for a reunion tour). Her songs are the songs of our generation and will be forever remembered.

Watching the GoPro videos is the best, endless entertainment, I mean seriously, the things people can do is pretty incredible. The latest video promoting HERO3: Black Edition does not disappoint, but my favourite will always be the HD HERO2, it's the song, gets me every time...
